Mental illness is indiscriminate. It can affect anyone. A balanced lifestyle, in which sport and exercise play an important part, is essential to maintain mental health. The road to success depends on awareness and taking responsibility for your own wellbeing. This is the rationale behind our programmes.
Our clients fall into two categories: those who are healthy in mind and body (public awareness campaigns) and those that live with long-term illness such as psychiatric conditions, HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes and TB or emotive disorders from neglect and abuse (therapeutic services).
Left: As people age they tend to forget the importance of regular exercise and relaxation to maintain both physical and mental health. No matter your age, make time for playful exercise in the fresh air and sun to counter the effects of stress. In all ROHA's programmes we promote the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.

One of the key areas to having and maintaining a healthy psyche and body is emotional coping skills. ROHA therefore focusses on lifeskills training for all age groups, especially emotional and coping skills such as Emotional Action Planning © (used under license).
Right: The eBook titled "Emotional Coping Skills © and other critical Life Skills for Teens" form the basis of ROHA's therapeutic and life skills training programmes like Healing Spirit. The book is available from Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E3JPU54.
